Richmond Road Race Jan 13, 2013
On a rainy cool, but not cold - January 13 day ... the Perth Running Goats Club was represented at the Richmond Road Race by David Eggleton (10k) and Terry Stewart (5k). They both wore their kilts for the race - Dave in his historic stud rich celtic vest, Terry deciding to go shirtless as a nice contrast to the snowy background!
Both our club runners had only so so race times by their estimation, and each finished 6th in their age category. But the main purpose was to promote the kilt race...over 200 race invitation cards were handed out. Mission accomplished!
ps The winner of the 5k race was the same guy who has won all three Perth Kilt Runs - Kieren Day!
